Days of Rage is the new book by Bryan Burrough (he also wrote Public Enemies). The book is about the violent movements of the 1960s and 1970s. This book includes details about the Weather Underground and the Symbionese Liberation Army among other groups.
It is an interesting book. It covers a long time period but I thought it did that well. Details of all the groups is clear.
Bill Ayers is probably the most famous former domestic terrorist today because of his connection, which is not as close as some people claimed, to President Obama. There are a few other famous people mentioned in the book like Patty Hearst.
The conclusion of the book is interesting. Burrough mentions a man who has spent years trying to make sure that people remember the bad things the radical underground did. I thought that was worth noting.
