Murdoch Mysteries

This series is pretty good. I just started watching it, and so far I like it.  Yannick Bisson stars as detective William Murdoch in Toronto in the turn of 20th century. This series is based on a series of novels by Maureen Jennings. This is a Canadian tv series.

I like this show  so far. Bisson is good in the lead role and the supporting actors are good. His superior officer might doubt Murdoch’s methods at times but that conflict is not over blown. Murdoch uses foresnic science to solve crimes.

Real people like Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Nicolas Telsa appear.  That is fun. It doesn’t happen every episode, which is also good.

I have no idea how the show compares to the novels because I’ve never read any of the novels. Maybe I should.
