This is billed as a Justice League movie. It is not one. It is a Flash animated movie. I know that the Justice League is a bigger draw than the Flash and I understand why it is billed that way.
In this movie, the Flash is thrown into a radically changed world. Wonder Woman and the Amazons are at war with Aquaman and the people of Atlantis. Batman is ruthless, and he is Thomas Wayne, not Bruce Wayne. Superman is unknown.
This is a good movie. It adapts the recent mini-series that established the New 52. I liked the fact that Barry Allen was the main hero of this movie and I thought the movie handled his character well.
It was a nice touch to have Tim Daly’s son Sam voice Superman (TIm Daly was the voice of Superman in the animated series and a couple of these movies). Nathan Fillion returns as Green Lantern and Dana Delany returns as Lois Lane.
The movie does earn its PG-13 rating. It is violent but not excessive so.
I think it was good, not great. I felt it was worth buying. This is the 17th in the series of DC animated movies and I own 16 of them.
